After completing my undergrad my beautiful mom took me to Cuba for a week (back in May). This was my third time there, 2nd time in Santa Maria, and honestly it gets better with every visit. We stayed at Playa Cayo Santa Maria resort. No complaints … even the food was okay ( something everyone complains about 😉 ).

I’ve only been to a few tropical destinations and by far the beaches in Cuba are the best (simply AMAZING). The water is so clear and just super warm !!

For the most part we stayed at the resort. One afternoon we did go on a catamaran excursion, as well as the local market. Both were fun and it’s always exciting to interact with the locals!!

There were so many photos taken but they were filled with sweaty faces and poofy hair.. seriously envy people who can look amazing when it’s so hot…. maybe I’m missing something… will definitely need to look up some tips lol.
